By educating and providing Jewish experiences for our youth, we can impact their decision to marry Jewish. It’s simply not a priority for many young professionals due to a lack of knowledge and understanding. We see it as our responsibility to provide opportunities for Jewish singles to meet and then guide them on the path to preserving the Jewish tradition.
YAHAD employs matchmakers who visit each city to meet marriage-minded young adults, gather data and make connections. They help coach the young men and women during the dating process, provide a listening ear and moral support throughout the engagement period and see to it that the emotional and financial needs of the young couple are taken care of until the Chupa and beyond.
